Wheels of Arabia and Energica have signed a commercial agreement which makes the former the sole dealership of the latter in the entire UAE region. This means that enthusiasts will now have much more easy accessibility to the high-performance Energica electric motorcycles in the UAE.

They represent some of the best brands available worldwide including Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Aprilia, Vespa, Moto Guzzi, Piaggio, MV Agusta, Gilera, etc. And now, they will also represent Energica Motor Company.
Energica is a well-known name in the industry. Heck, these guys are the only suppliers of e-bikes for the world MotoE championship which made its debut last year and received an overwhelming response.
Giacomo Leone, Energica Sales & Field Marketing Director, commented on the new agreement, “Wheels of Arabia will contribute to affirming Energica’s presence in the UAE area. The UAE has an ambitious goal to boost its EV market in the next 20 years. The Government aims to boost its own EV use by 20% this year as well as roll out more than 40,000 EVs across the country by 2030.”
We remember the catastrophic fire at Jerez in March 2019 that destroyed all 18 Energica MotoE bikes. However, the electric motorcycle maker reacted quickly and built new bikes from the ground up in a very short period and provided the same to the teams. So, kudos to Energica and its entire team. Energica bikes were back on track in June 2019 for testing in Valencia followed by the opening race of the season at Sachsenring, Germany in July 2019.
Currently, Energica Motor Company has the following products on offer:
Eva Ribelle – an electric streetfighter with deadly looks and sheer performance. With 145 hp and 215 Nm on tap, this thing can reach 200 km/h in no time.
Eva EsseEsse9 – a classic version of the Eva Ribelle. It has 109 hp, 200 Nm, and a top speed of 200 km/h.
Ego/Ego+ – one of the world’s most powerful and advanced motorcycles that’s also electric. These are race or track-oriented tools. They have 145 horses and 215 Nm of torque. They are the fastest in Energica’s stable with a top speed of 240 km/h.
So, who’s excited for swinging a leg over an Energica here in the UAE?
