Husqvarna has revealed the Vitpilen 801 Concept, a special edition roadster packed with bespoke aerodynamic enhancements and performance-focused tweaks. Showcased during the late 2024 international show season, this concept hints at the possibility of a racier, track-inspired Vitpilen in the future.
The bike features extensive use of carbon fiber and custom components, shedding unnecessary weight for sharper performance. Its 799cc KTM-derived LC8c parallel-twin engine remains visually unchanged, likely retaining the current model’s 104 BHP.
A major highlight is the bespoke exhaust system, replacing the standard unit with a full under-seat setup. Painted white, the larger header pipes promise improved top-end performance, paired with a redesigned air intake for enhanced airflow.
The Vitpilen 801 also receives upgraded WP Apex Pro suspension, delivering improved control, adjustability, and traction. Brembo GP4 racing-spec calipers and FR T floating discs replace the stock braking setup, offering superior stopping power.
Other unique features include a disc-style rear wheel, inspired by velodrome cyclists for reduced drag, and a redesigned rear cowl that integrates the under-seat silencer. A new windshield completes the aerodynamic makeover.
While the Vitpilen 801 Concept remains a one-off for now, its cutting-edge design and performance upgrades signal Husqvarna’s ambition to push boundaries in the naked bike segment.
