The track-only KTM RC 8C just got that much more exclusive for the year 2024. Why? Because the Austrian two-wheeler giant has decided to make only 100 units of this fast motorcycle. Last year’s model was limited to 200 examples.
As for the specs, the 2024 KTM RC 8C will continue to draw power from the 889cc LC8 parallel-twin engine that we have seen in the 890 Duke R. However, for the track tool, the company has increased the revs to 12,000 rpm. With 135 hp on tap, the 142 kg KTM will be a hooligan to ride.
Of course, on top of that, KTM has thrown in top-of-the-line WP suspension and other MotoGP-like parts such as carbon fibre wings, race-spec Brembo brake components and CrMo trellis frame.
Those who are able to secure a KTM RC 8C unit with a booking deposit on the day will get an invite to a handover event at Portugal’s Portimao race track which includes a track setup session, dinner, meet and greet, and an exclusive track day experience with ‘KTM Race Royalty’.
