Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp are all set to launch their first product together in India next month. The upcoming motorcycle is called the Harley-Davidson X440 and it’s the first single-cylinder bike that will feature the Harley badge. Speaking of single-cylinder engines, here is how the X440 will sound like.
Harley-Davidson India has shared a video on its Instagram page showcasing the X440 in motion. The clip also gives a short listen to the motorcycle’s exhaust note. It is obviously very different from what we are accustomed to when it comes to Harleys.
While the official specifications are yet to be revealed, it is being said that the Harley-Davidson X440 will be powered by an air and oil-cooled mill that will make around 30 bhp. Other features will include USD front forks, disc brakes, full-LED lighting, fully digital instrument cluster, etc.
The Harley-Davidson X440 will be launched in India on 3rd July. It is an important product for the brand as it will help the company to reach a much wider audience and more markets in the region. Whether or not the X440 will make it to the UAE remains a mystery as of now.
