Lord Drake Kustoms has revealed its new custom creation, the Yamaha VMAX Neoracer, a V4 beast given a modern twist by renowned customizer Francisco Ali Manen. Originally a 1992 Yamaha V Max 1200, this iconic machine has been completely transformed while retaining its raw, powerful essence.
With over 30 years behind it, the V Max was in decent mechanical shape, but the owner wanted a fresh, modern look. Fran Manen and his team at LDK delivered, not only with aesthetic upgrades but with improved suspension and braking systems.
The bike was completely disassembled, starting with the installation of new inverted forks, dual brake calipers, and upgraded brake discs on the front. A tracker-style handlebar, a unique LED headlight, and handcrafted metal fairing elements gave the front end a sleek, aggressive look.
At the rear, LDK cut the subframe and handcrafted a stunning tail unit with an integrated seat, removable for easy gas tank access. New Ohlins shock absorbers, custom exhaust pipes, and a motogadget digital odometer added modern functionality.
Finished in matte graphite grey and black, the minimalist paint job enhances the muscular lines of the VMAX Neoracer, giving this custom build a naked, café racer vibe while maintaining its ferocious V4 spirit.
