Expanding its product portfolio for the 2021 model range, Quin Design has released the new Ghost Double Zero full-face helmet. In developing the Ghost model, the company benchmarked a collection of the world’s lightest racing helmets. The Ghost was produced to be clean in the wind, extremely quiet, plush and comfortable, manage extreme energy with its patented Conehead EPS liner, and offer a snug fit.
After designing the chassis of the new 2021 Ghost Double Zero, Quin Design then integrated its patented crash detection system (Intelliquin) and rider activated SOS beacon. The company has also fitted a Bluetooth communication system. The result is a helmet with invisibly integrated Bluetooth and Intelliquin technology that tips the scale at an astoundingly low weight of just 2.8 lbs or 1.27 kg, (lighter than the majority of world-class motorcycle racing helmets).
The Ghost helmet offers dual homologation (ECE 22.05 / DOT) and comes in three colors – luxe-matte finished, naked Carbon Fiber with Lambo yellow logos, high-gloss finish with a dual-tone Carbon Fiber dyed with a translucent/pearlescent red, and the new Ghost Double Zero offers a luxe-matte finished naked Carbon Fiber with Battleship Grey logos.
All Ghost models offer fully integrated Bluetooth systems, the patented Intelliquin crash detection system that pinpoints an accident location, and messages emergency contacts automatically. They also feature the patented Quin SOS (Save Our Souls) rider activated emergency beacon / live-tracking system (a first for the Powersports industry).
The Ghost Double Zero has an MSRP of USD 659 (AED 2,420) and can be fitted with an optional dark smoke shield (USD 45 or AED 165). All Ghost models also come with Pinlock ready clear shields (Pinlock inserts available late October 2020).
