It doesn’t matter whether you’re a Vespa lover or not because the new special edition Vespa 946 Christian Dior has been created and designed in such a way that it allures everyone. It’s much more than a sweetly modified or custom Vespa 946 scooter; it’s an artwork.
What’s the Vespa 946 Christian Dior all about?
The Italian scooter company, Vespa, and the Parisian couture house, Dior, have joined hands to create the exclusive and special edition Vespa 946 Christian Dior. It is a representation of the spirit of freedom, movement and expression which drive both the brands involved.
Vespa 946 Christian Dior design
While the silhouette of the Vespa 946 Christian Dior is identical to that of the standard Vespa 946, it is the addition of several outstanding features that make the scooter very unique. The model has been designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri who’s the Creative Director of Dior women’s collections.
The Vespa 946 Christian Dior has the monohull architecture and subtle graphic lines which pay tribute to the heritage of Vespa and Dior. The exclusive colour option looks superb and the gold touches on the several parts make things even better.
The seat of the Vespa 946 Christian Dior features real blue leather. The ‘Christian Dior’ logo can also be found on the scooter. Vespa and Dior have also come up with a handful of accessories that match this special two-wheeler. These matching accessories include a top case patterned with the Dior Oblique motif – designed by Marc Bohan in 1967 – and a helmet adorned with the same iconic motif. These accessories will be available exclusively in Dior boutiques.
Vespa 946 Christian Dior availability
The Vespa 946 Christian Dior will be launched in spring 2021 in Dior boutiques around the world and subsequently in a selection of Piaggio Group’s Motoplex stores. While the price of the special edition scooter hasn’t been revealed yet, expect it to be more expensive than the standard Vespa 946.
