The KTM RC range of bikes has allowed enthusiasts to experience the thrill that the Austrian brand is capable of providing, irrespective of the engine displacement. These single-cylinder motorcycles have offered a variety of owners a taste of what it’s like to live with a sportsbike. While the machines continue to do their job of satisfying their masters, there is a new development that would catch the attention of the enthusiasts.
As per reports, KTM is working on giving the RC range of bikes a makeover, and the next-gen models could get a brand-new twin-cylinder engine. This new powerhouse is said to be under development under the supervision of both KTM and Bajaj Auto.

While the specs are obviously not shared at the moment, it is expected to fall under the 500cc segment and is likely to replace the current engine handling the duties across the RC, 390 Duke and 390 Adventure series.
Apart from the new twin-cylinder engine, the next-gen KTM RC bikes would feature multiple design changes, such as new LED headlamps and winglets inspired by the brand’s MotoGP race machines.
The new motorcycles are expected to come with these updates by the end of 2027. Until then, the current-gen models will continue to be on sale.
Considering the humongous popularity of KTC RC bikes across the globe, a lot of enthusiasts from around the world would have their eyes on the next-gen bikes.
