Norton has unveiled a brand-new superbike. It is called the V4SV and according to the company, it is the most luxurious British superbike ever created.
Norton says that the Isle of Man TT is where the V4SV was imagined, the road is where it was born. The speed, the handling, the feeling… Nothing comes close to it.
The V4SV is powered by a 1200cc V4, 72-degree, liquid-cooled engine – engineered by Norton to produce 185bhp 125 Nm. The chassis is designed and developed in-house, then tested at the world’s most rigorous race track: the Isle of Man TT.
Norton has also used a carbon fibre fuel tank, designed to keep the bike compact. The motorcycle also has a handcrafted, tig welded aluminium tube frame polished to a mirror finish, beautifully billet-machined footpegs, pedals and yokes, and carbon fibre bodywork.
The suspension on the V4SV is sourced from Ohlins – Ohlins NIX30 system front fork. Fully adjustable. Ohlins TTXGP Norton bespoke fully adjustable rear shock. Brakes are from Brembo. Full-colour 6-inch display with auto-brightness adjustment includes rearview camera functionality (does not replace rearview mirrors).
The gorgeous Norton V4SV is being offered in two colours options. The Manx livery has – Manx Silver bodywork. Red and black pinstripes. Full colour Union Jack. Black front number board. Red Oz racing forged aluminium wheels. Lacquered carbon fibre belly pan. On the other hand, the Carbon colour consists of Carbon fibre bodywork, monochrome Union Jack, Grey pinstripes, and Carbon fibre BST wheels.
