The 600cc sportbike segment is going to get more competitive very soon because the all-new 2021 Honda CBR600RR will be launched in Japan on Aug 21. Honda has released a teaser video of the upcoming motorcycle to boost up the excitement among the enthusiasts.
The new CBR600RR will have a much sharper and aggressive design. The headlights are slimmer and are LED units. Honda has also worked upon the fairing of the motorcycle to make it more aesthetically pleasing as well as aerodynamically efficient. If you ask us, our favourite feature of the 2021 CBR600RR is the under-seat exhaust. There are not many production motorcycles out there with such a setup. And we love it!
Coming to the engine of the new CBR600RR, it will be a 600cc inline 4-cylinder unit that will be Euro-5 compliant. The exact specs have not been revealed yet but it is being anticipated that the power output would be around 120-130 bhp whereas the torque generated would be in the 60-70 Nm range.
Some of the features of the Honda CBR600RR that can be noted down from the teaser video include a new full digital dash and HRC livery. The motorcycle will be capable of doing speeds north of 225 km/h with the revs redlining at 15K mark.
More details regarding the new Honda CBR600RR will be revealed on Aug 21 when it will be launched in its home country. We can’t wait for Honda to launch the new motorcycle in the UAE!
