The 2026 Honda CB1000F is here, and it’s a beautiful blast from the past. This one’s more than just another neo-retro; it’s a time machine that channels the spirit of 1980s icons like the CB900F Bol D’Or and Freddie Spencer’s CB750F, then straps in some proper 21st-century tech.
From the first glance, it’s pure nostalgia done right. That round headlamp, dual horns, and those bold retro racing graphics are straight out of the golden superbike era. The sculpted fuel tank and megaphone-style exhaust complete the old-school silhouette, giving it that cafe swagger — and yes, the exhaust note would be as throaty as it looks.
Underneath the retro bodywork, things get spicy. Powering the CB1000F is a 999cc inline-four borrowed from the 2017–2019 CBR1000RR Fireblade, but tuned for real-world rideability. With 122 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 103 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm, it trades outright aggression for a broader, smoother torque curve — perfect for fast road rides and everyday usability.
The handling setup matches the muscle. Honda has fitted a 41mm Showa SFF-BP inverted fork, a Pro-Link rear monoshock, and Nissin four-piston radial calipers gripping 310mm floating discs. It’s all top-shelf kit designed to balance old-school charm with razor-sharp modern performance.
Tech-wise, it’s fully loaded. A six-axis IMU powers cornering ABS and traction control, while ride-by-wire offers three preset and two custom riding modes. The 5-inch TFT display supports Honda RoadSync, and the Smart Key system makes for slick, keyless starts.
Initially launching in Europe, the CB1000F will be available in Wolf Silver Metallic with blue stripes or Graphite Black with red accents. No word yet on the UAE launch, but considering the diverse tastes that motorcyclists have here, Honda would eventually bring the CB1000F to the region.
