The Limited-Edition Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Revival has been unveiled. It’s the first model in the American motorcycle company’s new “Icons Collection” range that will offer limited-edition models once a year, with one or two models with a single production run.
The 2021 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Revival, inspired by the 1969 Electra Glide, is a limited edition model. Only 1500 units of the new motorcycle will be made available in the USA. Speaking on the occasion, Jochen Zeitz, Chairman, President and CEO, Harley-Davidson, said, “I am proud to introduce our new limited production Icons Collection, a series of extraordinary adaptations of production motorcycles which look to our storied past and bright future.”
The batwing fairing is one of the most eye-catching elements of the new Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Revival. The attractive dual-tone Hi-Fi Blue and Black Denim paint scheme adds to the overall visual appeal. Another feature that imparts a vintage touch is the white sidewall of the tyres. The old-school touches are limited to aesthetics. as, in terms of safety, the Electra Glide comes equipped with cornering ABS, traction control, drag-torque slip control system and hill-hold control.
Powering the new Electra Glide is a 1868cc, Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-Twin engine that generates 160Nm of peak torque at 3,250rpm. For the transmission, there’s a 6-speed gearbox. To make each unit of the Electra Glide special, every single model will carry a unique serial number and certificate.
