Big news for naked bike fans — MV Agusta has officially confirmed the arrival of an all-new Brutale, likely to debut at the EICMA 2025 show in Milan. And this isn’t just a facelift — it’s a full-blown rebirth for one of the most iconic streetfighters of all time.
The new model will mark 25 years of the Brutale nameplate, a bike MV proudly calls “the world’s most iconic naked motorcycle.” While details are still under wraps, the brand has revealed that the upcoming Brutale will feature a major chassis overhaul and a new 950cc ‘Evo’ engine promising more power, torque, and refinement than ever before. In short, the next Brutale is shaping up to be sharper, faster, and more dependable — all while retaining the soul of its Italian lineage.
The new mainframe, swingarm, and suspension setup have reportedly been re-engineered from the ground up to deliver better stability, agility, and comfort. MV Agusta’s engineers say the focus this time is on rideability and reliability — a phrase we don’t often hear from the flamboyant Italian brand, which has traditionally prioritized art and performance over practicality.
While MV hasn’t disclosed power figures yet, reports suggest the engine will likely be derived from the 931cc triple used in the Enduro Veloce adventure bike, which produces 122 bhp and 102 Nm of torque. That would place the new Brutale right in the middle of the hyper-naked battle zone, going head-to-head with machines like the Ducati Streetfighter V2, Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS, and KTM 890 Duke R.
The current Brutale lineup stretches from 110 hp in the base triple to a brutal 205 hp in the four-cylinder Brutale 1000 RR. If the 2026 model lives up to its promise, it could strike the perfect balance between ferocity and finesse.
Full details — including pricing, specs, and official images — are expected to drop at EICMA 2025, but one thing’s clear: MV Agusta wants the next Brutale to be more than a collector’s bike. It’s aiming to prove that Italian artistry can coexist with everyday reliability.
