Multiple world record holder Lotfi Hamrouni, who is widely known as LH11 in the UAE, has picked up the 2021 Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory as his companion for the next challenge. The fantastic motorcycle has been provided to him by Society Motors UAE.
Since the number 11 is very special for Hamrouni, he revealed his 2020 challenge on 11-11 at 11.11 am. The announcement ceremony was hosted by Emirates Motorsports Organisation and the honorary guest who unveiled the motorcycle was the UAE Rally Champion and legend driver Dr Mohammed Ben Sulayem.
As 2020 has been considered as a pandemic year by the World Health Organisation, Hamrouni has tailored his new challenge for a good cause to fight COVID-19. In honour of the United Arab Emirates 49th National Day, he will be riding his new 2021 Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory for one full day covering a distance of over 1100 kms and visiting 49 hospitals across the 7 Emirates.
This is Hamrouni’s way of showing gratitude towards all the frontline heroes in the UAE who have tirelessly served and kept everyone safe and healthy during the unprecedented times and are continuing to do so. Hamrouni will be giving Appreciation Certificates to hospitals and COVID-19 centres. The certificates will be signed by the UAE Ministry of Health & Prevention, Emirates Motorsports Organisation, UAE National Olympic Games Committee and Hamrouni himself.
Lotfi Hamrouni will start his 2020 challenge on 2 Dec. To show your support for his Frontline Appreciation Ride, spot LH11 Bike around the 7 emirates from to the 2nd of next month and take photos which you can tag and post for the chance to win LH11 signed t-shirt and cap. We wish Hamrouni success for his upcoming challenge!
