Moto Guzzi is celebrating its 100th anniversary and to mark the occasion, the company has revealed an incredible new motorcycle called the Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello.
While full details about the new Moto Guzzi have not been disclosed as of now, but we are pretty sure that this is going to be a game-changer for the company. And we would not be surprised to see similar Moto Guzzi motorcycles in the future; the new V100 Mandello is how upcoming products from the Italian firm would be based on and draw inspiration from.
Coming back to the new Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello. It appears to be a sports-tourer kind of a machine with a beautiful design that would make people stare at the motorcycle in awe. Some of the features that we can figure out from the images and the official video include a single-sided swingarm, splendid-looking alloy wheels, smooth and flowing design, split seats, and a shaft drive.
Based on the information available on the internet, the new Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello will be loaded with a bunch of new electronics. For instance, there would be a fully digital TFT display for the instrumentation, electronically adjustable windscreen, and active wings located on the side fairing. The V100 Mandello would also sit on a brand-new chassis. Other hardware includes a trellis frame, brakes by Brembo, and Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres.
As for the engine, it is said to be fitted with a fresh cylinder-head design. While we don’t the official figures yet, it is being expected to be of at least 1000cc. The new Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello would be available in multiple variants. As per the reports, the base model would be fitted with a regular suspension setup whereas the top-end trim would have Ohlins semi-active suspension.
