KTM 990 RC R Track

KTM has taken the wraps off the all-new KTM 990 RC R Track—a sharper, angrier evolution of the already potent 990 RC R, built purely for life on the circuit.

First teased alongside the road-going model in late 2025, the Track version is now confirmed to hit dealerships from March. But make no mistake—this isn’t just a tweaked supersport. KTM calls it a “pure-bred non-street legal” machine, and it shows. Out go the lights, mirrors and side-stand, replaced by a focused, race-ready setup that feels straight out of a paddock.

Under the fairing sits the familiar LC8c parallel-twin engine, now tuned for more punch. The Track variant produces 133 bhp—up from 126 bhp on the standard bike—along with 105 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. It’s not a massive jump on paper, but on track, every extra pony counts.

For anchoring duties, we have Brembo on the watch, accompanied by Michelin to ensure max grip at all times. And, of course, being a KTM, the suspension setup is supervised by WP.

The 990 RC R Track is also built with accessibility in mind, offering an entry point into competitive racing. It’s eligible for the KTM 990 RC R Cup, making it a ready-made weapon for aspiring racers looking to hit the grid without heavy modifications.

With its stripped-back approach, sharper performance, and race-focused intent, the 990 RC R Track isn’t just another variant—it’s KTM doubling down on what it does best: delivering raw, unfiltered track thrills.
