The 19th edition of International Female Ride Day (IFRD) rolled out across the UAE on May 3, 2025, celebrating women riders with an inspiring show of unity and horsepower. Over 60 female motorcyclists from more than 35 nationalities came together for a 67-km parade ride, which started at Last Exit Dubai and concluded at The Farm Restaurant in Al Barari.
Registered and supported by Mr. Atiq Hassan Mubarak, Senior Coordinator – International Security and Safety Advisor EMSO, the event was coordinated in collaboration with the Emirates Motorsports Organization (EMSO), RTA, Dubai Police, Civil Defence, and Ambulance services.

This year’s UAE IFRD marked a special milestone – connecting virtually with female rider groups in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, and Jordan. Through a real-time video call, over 140 women across five countries celebrated the spirit of riding together, championing female empowerment in motorsports.
Since its UAE debut in 2019, IFRD has steadily gained traction, becoming an annual highlight for the riding community. The global event, founded by Vicki Gray, is held on the first Saturday of May and encourages women around the world to “JUST RIDE!” – making a powerful statement for inclusion, visibility, and gender parity in motorcycling and powersports.

IFRD is a non-partisan, all-brands, all-styles initiative, celebrating women riders as role models in their communities. The UAE organizers extended heartfelt thanks to all contributors for making 2025’s edition a safe, impactful, and memorable event.
