We’ve been hearing about Harley-Davidson working on a smaller capacity motorcycle for years. While there had been a few sketches of the bike that surfaced the internet but now the brand-new motorcycle is out there in the flesh.
Harley-Davidson’s smallest and most affordable bike ever has been revealed in China. It’s called the X 350 which has been developed in collaboration with China-based QJ Motors.
We’d have to say that Harley-Davidson has done a pretty good job with the styling of the X 350. There’s enough meat in the motorcycle to give it a big-bike look. The proportions seem just right. We can see some styling cues that have been borrowed from the Harley-Davidson Sportster XR1200X which is alright.
As for the specs, the Harley-Davidson X 350 uses a 353cc, twin-cylinder engine that makes 36.2 bhp and 31 Nm of peak torque. For the transmission, there’s a 6-speed unit. This engine is also being used in the QJ Motors’ SRK 350.
Other features of the Harley-Davidson X 350 include a 13.5L fuel tank, circular LED headlamp, and single-pod instrument cluster. The motorcycle runs on 17-inch alloy wheels and comes equipped with USD front forks and monoshock at the rear.
So, what do you think of Harley’s smallest capacity X 350? Do you think it’d make sense to bring it here in the UAE?
