This season of the Al Masaood National Motorcycle Championship and Ducati Cup is coming to an end as the final race is going to take place on Friday, March 22, and boy what a season it has been!
There are numerous categories under which riders race – Supersport, Superstock, and Supersport Rookie. This year we also have the introduction of the Ducati Cup and Ducati Cup Rookie categories. Each category has very ambitious and talented riders.
Watching these guys race on the excellent Dubai Autodrome circuit is an astonishing sight. You should unquestionably attend the last round of this championship this weekend as now the competition is even tougher. Riders are going to give more than 100% to seize as many points as possible.
Talking about points, Mahmoud Tannir, who has got Bike Nation as one of his sponsors, has scored 200 points so far in this season. He is currently leading the Supersport category on his spanking Honda CBR600RR. Tannir has won 2012, 2013, and last two seasons of the Al Masaood Motorcycle Championship and has got quite a handful of experience. He is also very familiar with the track and his performance this year so far has been splendid. We are confident that he will stand on the highest step of the podium.
