The 2023 Motor Bike Expo has come to a successful end. This year the exhibition was able to show its true potential. The event brought together the great motorcycling community, the world’s leading production brands, emerging companies, the art of custom motorbikes, accessories, clothing, costumes and tourism.
The 2023 Motor Bike Expo witnessed over 160,000 visitors along with 720 companies. The event was spread over 100,000 sq. m. and had 7 pavilions. We had breathtaking shows and hundreds of demo rides in the outdoor area.
The international village area, which was dedicated to exhibitors from the USA, featured big companies such as Lexin, Amsoil and Arlen Ness, the latest from Atlas, Original Garage and Cali Raised. We also had multiple famous names in the custom world such as Power Plant, V-twin Visionary, Choppers Magazine and Kraus Motor Company as main partner.
MBE King of Custom
The most desired prize was taken by Hazard Motorcycles, winning the title of “King of Custom” and being able to lift the MBE AWARD 2023 thanks to its “Ghisarama,” a very stylish and refined dragster that Matteo Fustinoni built in more than three years, letting himself be inspired by the iconic Riva Aquarama speedboats.
The four super guests of the international jury – consisting of Zach Ness (Arlen Ness), Fred Krugger (Krugger), Jeff Holt (V-Twin Visionary) and Yaniv Evan (Powerplant) – deliberated the verdict after a long consultation, awarding Hazard’s custom bike as the “most beautiful bike of MBE 2023.”
In addition to great satisfaction, Matteo will win a super-performance twin-cylinder engine signed Ultra, worth €10,000, raffled off by Custom Chrome Europe; he will also get to sport a precious silver bracelet handcrafted by Silverbone for the occasion.
Magazine Award
The bike most appreciated by trade magazines is undoubtedly the 1949 Panhead Chopper by Boccin Custom Cycles, which wins no less than 3 nominations: Kopteri Magazine (Finland), Bikers Insider (Russia) and CRP (Netherlands). Germany’s CustomBike magazine and Virgin Radio-the event’s official partner-skipped Gallery Motorcycles’ “Baba Jaga.” Dream Machine (Germany) confirms the MBE Award verdict by awarding Hazard Motorcycles.
The Motor Bike Expo will return next year. The dates for the 2024 event have already been assigned – Jan 19-21. The exhibition will take place in Verona, Italy.
