Owning a superbike is another thing and riding it in control and utilizing its full potential is another. The number of superbikes in the UAE is increasing at a fast rate. This trend has got itself many young motorcycle enthusiasts who desire to own a superbike and ride one. While it is a good thing to be enthusiastic and passionate about motorcycles, we can’t just ignore the fact that motorcycling is a dangerous hobby. And that’s why there are proper riding institutions to get you up and completely ready so that you can enjoy your superbike safely. In an attempt to do just that, Ducati UAE and Emirates Driving Institute have come together to provide a one-of-its-kind program to make the students familiar with Ducati superbikes.
Here in the UAE, Revolutions Accessories is the sole distributor of Ducati superbikes. It is a part of Al Masaood LLC, which itself is a highly diversified group of businesses. Through Revolutions Accessories, Ducati is fulfilling the enthusiasm and passion of motorsports riders in the UAE as it vows to further engage this growing community in the country.
The new partnership of Revolutions Accessories with the Emirates Driving Institute (EDI) was announced during a signing ceremony which was held recently at the Emirates Driving Institute Head Quarters in the presence of Khalifa Abdulla Al Masaood, Board member of Al Masaood LLC.
This agreement is to provide EDI students latest Ducati superbikes under the Platinum Riding Course. This course will make sure that the students learn about the superbikes and how to ride them which would make them a better rider not only on a track but also on the road which is more important on a day-to-day basis.
Present during the announcement of the partnership was Khalifa Abdulla Al Masaood, Board member of Al Masaood LLC. He said, “Our mutually beneficial partnership is another opportunity for us to not only widen our network by forging long-term ties with relevant institutions but also to systematically reach out to the growing community of bike enthusiasts in the UAE. Students of EDI, who are planning to purchase a motorbike upon completion of the course, will have an opportunity to experience, early on, the timeless quality and unsurpassable power and standards of the Ducati brand.”
He further added, “Once our agreement takes into effect, we hope to convince the new prospects that owning Ducati is the wisest investment, Ducati Bikes – in over 60 nations throughout the world these models dominate the dreams of the most ardent motorcycle enthusiasts.”
Mr Amer Ahmed Belhasa, Chairman – EDI group of companies shared his views about this strategic partnership by saying, “Our vision is to build on our reputation as the leading learner and driver training organization in the Middle East and to remain at the forefront of road safety awareness. The addition of Ducati to our expanding fleet of luxury training vehicles aims to meet the growing interest of heavy bikes in the market. A hands-on training on these bikes has been added to the curriculum of motorcycle course to make our customers well-adapted to the bike mechanics, hence ensuring road safety.”
Ducati UAE and Emirates Driving Institute (EDI) have taken a commendable and applaudable step forward in making the UAE a safer region by signing this new partnership. After all, they say that introduce motorcycles to them at a young stage and train them and you’ll never regret your decision, right?
