Ducati has dropped a teaser confirming that a new Superleggera V4 Centenario is on the way, hinting at what could become one of the most exclusive superbikes the Italian brand has ever built.
The announcement arrived through a short social media teaser that briefly shows a black anodised top triple clamp being engraved with the words “Superleggera V4 Centenario.” The clip also confirms March 26 as the date when Ducati will reveal full details of the machine.

The Superleggera badge—Italian for “super light”—has long represented the ultimate expression of Ducati’s racing technology. Ever since the era of the Ducati Desmosedici RR, the Superleggera models have stood at the very top of the brand’s performance ladder.

Previous versions based on the Ducati Panigale V4 platform pushed the boundaries with extreme weight reduction, higher power outputs, and race-spec hardware inspired by WorldSBK machinery. They were also incredibly rare, typically limited to just 500 numbered units, making them highly sought-after collector bikes.
The “Centenario” name signals something even more special. In Italian, it refers to a centenary celebration, and the new model is expected to commemorate Ducati’s 100th anniversary this year. Given the milestone, enthusiasts can expect Ducati to go all out with advanced materials, cutting-edge electronics, and track-focused engineering.
While the teaser keeps most details under wraps, the upcoming Superleggera V4 Centenario is already shaping up to be a halo machine for Ducati’s centennial year—a featherweight superbike likely destined for collectors and hardcore track enthusiasts alike.
All eyes will now be on March 26, when Ducati finally pulls the covers off this special centenary creation.
