Ducati has unveiled its most extreme Diavel yet — the Diavel V4 RS, a 180 bhp muscle cruiser powered by the Desmosedici Stradale engine from the Panigale V4.

The Panigale-derived 1,103cc V4 engine delivers 180 bhp at 11,750 rpm and 121 Nm of torque at 9,500 rpm, enabling a blistering 0-62 mph in just 2.5 seconds. Paired with revised gearing, a high-flow air filter, and an STM EVO dry clutch, the RS promises sharper acceleration and smoother downshifts.

Weighing in at 223 kg, 3 kg lighter than the standard Diavel V4, the RS uses carbon fibre, titanium exhaust tips, and a lithium-ion battery to shed weight. Chassis highlights include an aluminium monocoque frame, steel trellis subframe, and single-sided swingarm. Suspension is handled by fully adjustable Ohlins units, while braking duties fall to Brembo Stylema calipers with 330mm discs.

Electronics are comprehensive, featuring cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, Ducati Power Launch, and multiple riding and power modes — including Race mode for the first time on a Diavel. A TFT dash with unique RS graphics provides track-inspired layouts.

Styling upgrades set the RS apart: a carbon single-seat tail unit with RS logos, forged five-spoke wheels, red Brembo calipers, and extensive carbon detailing. The bike also gets Ducati’s fattest-ever stock tyre, a 240/45 Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV.

Despite its track-ready focus, the RS retains practical touches like rear cylinder deactivation, removable pillion setup, and optional touring accessories. Each unit carries an individual numbered plaque, adding exclusivity.
