Motorbike enthusiasts are known for their sentimental attachment to their rides, and Jed’s custom Yambretta RD350 is no exception. Located in Wiltshire, England, this stunning creation is a tribute to Jed’s late brother, Jamie, and is lovingly named the Envious Git.
The custom scooter’s front end is Lambretta, while the engine and rear frame are from a Yamaha RD350. Casa Performance crafted the exhausts, and Jed made many other customizations to ensure everything worked together seamlessly.
One of the most striking features of the Envious Git is its airflow design. The functional vents on the front and side panels are both stylish and practical, ensuring that the scooter runs smoothly. The shifting is accomplished via a foot shifter on the left-hand floorboard, and the scooter boasts an impressive 60 horsepower at the rear wheel. Jed reports that it can reach speeds of up to 120 miles per hour (193 km/h), although he prefers not to push it that far due to stability concerns.
Despite its power, the Envious Git is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, with a stealthy appearance that belies its capabilities. Jed loves passing other unsuspecting two-wheelers on the road, but admits that it does drink fuel, so he often finds himself stopping at petrol stations to refuel.
