The BMW R20 concept was unveiled in May this year and now, as per a new report, it is finally set to become a reality. Latest details have surfaced, confirming the roadster’s debut in 2026, with registrations completed in Germany.
At the heart of the BMW R20 will be a massive 2,000cc boxer-twin engine, expected to churn out 100bhp and 160Nm of torque. While the concept model showcased a single-seat design, the production version is likely to offer an optional pillion seat for added practicality.
The roadster’s hardware promises great performance, featuring a steel frame, USD front forks, and a monoshock, from Ohlins. Braking duties will be handled by dual front and single rear discs with dual-channel ABS. The 17-inch cross-spoke wheels will sport tubeless tyres, ensuring modern reliability with a classic aesthetic.
Tech-savvy riders can look forward to full-LED lighting, a TFT display with smartphone connectivity, traction control, and much more.
More details regarding the BMW R20 are expected to be released maybe next year.
