The 10th edition of the World Ducati Week is here and just like its previous iterations this one, too, gathered a huge amount of crowd from various parts of the world. Representing the Ducati UAE, Al Masaood Ducati was present at the three-day event.
Along with the thousands of Ducati bike rider champions and enthusiasts from around the world, the 10th WDW also witnessed this year’s Rookie Cup champion, Lara Pepler and members of the Ducati Owners Club UAE. Also present at the event were past and present world champions of the MotoGP and the Superbike.
The WDW is an annual event that gives an opportunity to a large group of like-minded people to come together and interact with each other, share stories, enjoy, and have fun. For that, the three-day event conducts numerous exciting activities such as racing, riding courses (DRE Academy), and Italian-style summer entertainment including musical events, beach party, and acrobatic stunts.
This years’ WDW featured the Race of Champions at the Misano World Circuit where renowned riders and Ducati flag bearers of past and present, competed head-to-head riding the limited-edition Panigale V4 S motorcycles. MotoGP and Superbike riders such as Andrea Dovizioso, Jorge Lorenzo, Danilo Petrucci, Jack Miller, Chaz Davies and Marco Melandri joined the challenge, including first-rate rider Troy Bayliss.
Speaking about the WDW and Ducati in the Middle East, Joel O’Brien, General Manager, Ducati UAE, said, “With the ever-growing number of Ducati owners and fans across the UAE, the World Ducati Week is a fitting event to join the global Ducati community in Italy and become part of the thrills, the summer fun and the lifestyle that reflect one’s love of bike riding. It is an honor for Ducati UAE to be a part of this global celebration, together with the Ducati Owners Club UAE and it was a truly powerful event for all of us, in the company of bike champions showcasing the strength of Ducati bikes and its unique relationship with its riders. We can’t wait to come back for the next edition.”
