Maxwell Hazan isn’t just building custom bikes – he’s engineering adrenaline. The Los Angeles-based motorcycle artist has just unveiled his most ambitious project yet: the HF355, a Ferrari-powered motorcycle.
At its heart is a 3.5-litre V8 from a Ferrari F355, making around 400 horsepower, paired with a 6-speed transmission. But the real mind-bender? There’s no conventional frame. The engine and transmission are the structure. Hazan crafted a minimalistic subframe and bolted everything directly to the drivetrain, keeping dimensions surprisingly tight.

Despite that ferocious powerplant, the HF355 weighs just 250 kg (dry) and about 267 kg wet – including a 15-litre fuel tank, 7.5 litres of oil, and 7.5 litres of coolant. That’s barely above your average liter-class sportbike and absolutely bonkers when you consider what’s powering it.
This isn’t some factory collab or marketing gimmick. Hazan built it in his workshop – every nut, weld, and design choice made to balance brute Ferrari performance with the agility and form of a motorcycle.

And the result? A visceral, one-off masterpiece that sounds like an Italian V8 symphony and probably rides like a caffeinated hurricane.
