Benelli is getting ready to light up the middleweight naked segment with the all-new TNT 550, set to arrive in 2026. First shown alongside the brand’s adventure touring models at EICMA, the TNT 550 brings back the raw, streetfighter spirit that made the TNT nameplate such a cult favourite.
Under the skin, the TNT 550 borrows heavily from the Tornado 550 supersport, and that’s good news for enthusiasts. Power comes from Benelli’s 554cc parallel-twin engine, churning out around 56 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 54 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The focus here is usable mid-range punch rather than chasing headline top-end numbers – perfect for real-world street riding.

True to Benelli tradition, the bike uses a steel tube trellis frame, paired with fully adjustable 41mm USD front forks and a preload- and rebound-adjustable rear monoshock. Braking hardware is serious too, with twin 320mm semi-floating front discs clamped by four-piston radial calipers, backed up by a 260mm rear disc. Grip comes courtesy of 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli Angel GT II tyres.
Electronics are kept sensibly sporty. Riders get two riding modes – Normal and Sport – along with switchable traction control and ABS. A crisp 5-inch TFT display rounds things off, offering navigation, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.

On paper, the Benelli TNT 550 looks like a no-nonsense middleweight naked motorcycle with the right mix of performance, hardware and attitude – exactly what a TNT should be.
