Vespa has given its iconic Primavera and Sprint S scooters a subtle yet meaningful update for 2026, keeping the retro charm intact while sharpening safety and tech.
The biggest upgrade? A new rear disc brake. Replacing the old drum setup, the 220mm disc with a dual-piston caliper works alongside ABS, offering better bite and confidence – something you’ll appreciate when darting through city traffic or pushing the charming scooter a little harder on open roads.

Engine options remain familiar, with 50cc, 125cc, and 150cc petrol variants, along with electric versions featuring removable batteries. The entry-level electric model stays capped at 45 km/h, catering to urban commuters.

Tech gets a boost too. Keyless ignition is now standard across most variants (except the 50cc), while a new LCD dash comes in across the range. The Primavera Tech continues with its premium 5-inch TFT display and Vespa MIA connectivity, letting you sync your phone seamlessly.

Visually, the updates are clean but noticeable. Both scooters ride on new five-spoke 12-inch wheels, while the Sprint S gets a sharper front grille. The Primavera sees finer detailing on the mudguard and even brings back a practical under-handlebar hook because style should still work in the real world.
Colour options have expanded, adding more personality across both petrol and electric versions.
For enthusiasts and Vespa admirers, the formula remains simple – timeless design, now with better stopping power and smarter features. It’s still a Vespa, just a bit sharper where it counts.
