2021 Ducati Monster spied (1)

The 2021 Ducati Monster is under development. The test mule of the same has been spotted at a test facility in Germany revealing some of the key design changes that the Italian company has adopted for the upcoming Monster family.

Going by the spy pictures, it seems that the biggest change in the 2021 Ducati Monster is the new cast aluminium frame which has replaced the steel Trellis frame of the current models. Why this is one of the key changes in the motorcycle? Well, because the red steel Trellis frame has always been an integral part of the Monster family’s design. It also played a significant role in helping enthusiasts spotting a Ducati Monster in a crowd. Now, with that gone, it would be interesting to see how the fans respond to the new design.

Apart from the frame, we can also see a big-ass radiator in the spy images. This means that there will be a liquid-cooled engine in the new motorcycle. The details of the motor are not known at the moment. The prototype also had a dual-barrel exhaust which feels like just a temporary piece of equipment and Ducati is expected to replace it with another unit for the production version of the 2021 Monster.

No more information of the 2021 Ducati Monster is available right now. However, it is being anticipated that the Italian motorcycle giant would unveil the new Monster by the year-end or early 2021.
