Zero Motorcycles, the American electric motorcycle manufacturer, has been doing pretty good for last few years. They keep on coming with new models now and then have recently revealed their new and updated 2018 product lineup. They are even available in the UAE. The firm has issued a recall for some of its 2018 models in the USA.

The recall affects only 36 units in total which include certain Zero S ZF13.0, Zero S ZF7.2, Zero SR ZF14.4, Zero DS ZF13.0, Zero DSR ZF14.4, Zero FX ZF7.2, and Zero FXS ZF7.2. It’s being said that the issue behind the recall is that the Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) label of these units displays the incorrect model year. Consequently, they fail to comply with 49 CFR Part 567, “Certification.”

Zero Motorcycles will contact the owners of the affected models and notify them about the issue. They’d be advised to go to their nearest Zero Motorcycles dealership and get the label replaced by a correct one without any charge. The process will begin sometime in Dec 2017.
