Yamaha has recently released a video which says ‘Your adventure awaits…’. It is definitely something to do with a new adventure bike from the Japanese house and we think it is none other than the T7 concept because Yamaha doesn’t have any other adventure bike lined up for a nearby launch.

Showcased at the EICMA show in 2016, the T7 concept sure grabbed many pairs of eyeballs. The bike was a fully functional prototype. It has been developed with the help of official rally team in France, Yamaha R&D in Italy, and GK Design in The Netherlands.

The T7 concept is meant to be a pure adventure motorcycle and carries minimalistic looks. It is based on Yamaha FZ-07 street bike. It gets a 270-degree parallel-twin engine which is being used in Yamaha FZ-07 and MT-07 motorcycles. The engine is likely to be re-tuned specifically for the T7 concept.

It might also be getting some electronic aids to enhance its off-road capabilities but we don’t have any further details regarding the same.

Now since Yamaha has released an official teaser video, we wouldn’t be surprised if we see a production ready T7 concept motorcycle in the near future.
