It was just a couple of days ago when we reported about an upcoming more powerful and updated Honda Africa Twin. With only a handful of details and other speculations, we were looking forward to seeing the new Africa Twin soon. And now, Honda released a teaser video of the bike!
The video doesn’t reveal anything! It really is a teaser, right? Honda didn’t even give us a glimpse of the new bike. But the reason we think it’s nothing else but the Africa Twin is the fact that at the end of the video it says ‘True Adventure’ written in the same font that we have on the Africa Twin.
It is quite likely that it is going to be the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin that we talked about in our previous article – 1,084cc parallel-twin, 94bhp, 4 variants, larger windscreen and fuel tank, etc. However, there have been earlier reports from Japan about an 850cc Africa Twin as well. This makes things a bit complicated. Now, we don’t know the teaser is of which model – 850 or 1100.
Anyway, since the teaser is now out, it means that the unveiling shouldn’t be far away. We are expecting Honda to, perhaps, release another teaser video before doing the final unveiling at some of the popular motor show – Intermot or EICMA – during the end of the year.
