Having a presence in over 60 countries, TVS Motor Company finally reaches Dubai and opens its first showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road and appoints Al Yousuf MC as its sole distributor in the region. Spread over an area of 2700 sq ft, the showroom will not only just deal with the sales but also provide all spare parts. It also has a full-blown service facility.
Bike Nation was present at the inauguration of the showroom and to get a first-hand experience of the available two-wheelers. Out of all, it was the TVS Apache RR 310 that caught our attention. It’s a 312cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder bike with 34 horsepower and 27.3 Nm of torque.
Its bodywork not only looked beautiful but also appeared to be very aerodynamically efficient. It should be a lot of fun on a race track. Also, its vertically stacked instrument console was something we don’t usually see. We’ve been told that the display has features like lap timer, 0-60 timer, top-speed recorder, etc.
Apart from the Apache RR 310, there were other premium segment motorcycles, scooters, commuter and delivery-segment two-wheelers present as well.
Bike Nation also got a chance to interview Mr Yousuf Al Yousuf from Al Yousuf Motors who told us about the importance of the partnership of Al Yousuf MC and TVS Group as they both believe in similar goals and have same values. With this partnership, Al Yousuf MC will make sure TVS Motor Company gets the kind of attention it deserves.
