Triumph has just released a teaser video of its new Tiger 900 which it is going to launch on December 3rd. And there’s going to be two variants of the new bike – Tiger 900 Rally and Tiger 900 GT.
The teaser video reveals the two bikes in full but from a far away angle. So we didn’t really get to see what the new Tiger looks like. However, we do have an idea about that because just a few months ago, a test mule of the same was spotted and we had the chance to look the spy pictures.
From that, we know that the new Triumph Tiger 900 will be sleeker than the current Tiger 800. It will also have a new unibrow LED DRL and LED headlamp. There will be an upswept exhaust, a luggage rack, and auxiliary lamps.
Triumph would also switch from WP to Showa for the new Tiger 900’s suspension setup; of course, long-travel suspension setup. We are also quite positive about the inclusion of the new full-colour TFT dash that we’ve seen in the other recently revealed Triumphs.
Powering the new Triumph Tiger 900 would be an 887cc, inline-three cylinder engine that produces around 100 horses. It’s the same unit that handles duties in the Street Twin and Scrambler.
