News regarding the upcoming 2019 Triumph Speed Twin has been surfacing on the Internet for quite some time now. There have been a few leaked spy pictures of the motorcycle that gave some information about its appearance. Now, Triumph has released a new video teaser of the 2019 Speed Twin.
It seems quite evident that the new Triumph would be a combination of the Bonneville and from the Thruxton. It would feature a simple and straight seat and a raised handlebar for a comfortable riding position.
Triumph released the new video teaser of the 2019 Speed Twin on its official Twitter account. The tweet said, “The beautiful new benchmark for how a custom roadster should ride and feel.” The teaser also states that the new bike will be a new performance icon.
It is being anticipated that the engine powering the new 2019 Speed Twin would be taken from the Triumph Thruxton. It would be a 1200cc engine with 97hp. However, Triumph might have worked to shed off some extra weight.
Triumph is going to officially launch the new Speed Twin on 4th Dec 2018. This date has been mentioned in the teaser video as well. So the date is booked for sure. More information regarding the bike will be released thereafter. We’ll be keeping an eye out so stay tuned for more details.
