Three new Triumph Bonneville models were unveiled at the Intermot show held in Cologne earlier this month. Triumph has already hit the sweet spot with the Bonneville. It is one of their highest selling models and one of the most cherished when it comes to modern-retro motorcycles. It connects you with the glory days of British motorcycling with its 50 years of heritage and true-to-original styling but it is built with everything that comes with modern engineering too.

Over the years, triumph has offered many iterations of the Bonneville based on the company’s glorious past. Here are three more beautiful models that will have many Bonneville fans and collectors calling their nearest Triumph dealership.

Bonneville T214

The Limited Edition Bonneville T214 celebrates the achievements of Texas-born racer Johnny Allen, and his record-breaking Triumph-powered Cee-Gar streamliner which, in 1956, set the first of many land speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats by recording a two-way average of 214.4mph (343.04kmph). The now-classic 1959 Triumph Bonneville was named in tribute to the Texas Cee-Gar team’s record-setting efforts.

The new Bonneville T214 Limited Edition pays homage to Allen’s remarkable land speed record achievement. The hand painted Caspian Blue and Pure White colour scheme complete with red and white chequer detailing echoes that of the 1956 Texas Cee-Gar, whilst the front mudguard shares the same white star motif from the nosecone of the streamliner. The shortened rear mudguard combined with blacked out wheel rims, handlebars, and rear suspension springs add to the authentic look which is complimented with red seat stitching detail and a smaller front headlight.

The Bonneville T214 will be limited to a total of 1000 bikes worldwide.

Bonneville Spirit

Since the 1959 launch of the Triumph Bonneville riders have been customising and making them their own. Over the decades Bonneville has spawned countless customs from landspeed record holders to the most contemporary of custom specials.

The new Bonneville Spirit captures the style and effortless cool of the 1950s Bonneville, but of course adds the benefit of up-to-date engineering to create a new classic British twin for the 21st century.

The most striking feature is the unique Spirit Blue / New England White paint scheme which adorns the fuel tank and rear mudguard. White stitching has been used to decorate the part-textured seat cover, and contrasts with the Jet Black paint that has been applied to the side panel and front mudguard. In favour of the traditional chrome Triumph badge the latest Triumph script has been used on the fuel tank to maintain to the fresh contemporary feel.

Adding to the scheme are a number of components; handlebars, mirror housings, engine covers, wheel rims and hubs, which have been blackened. Stubby silencers from the Bonneville, a compact black headlight from the Scrambler and a rear mudguard from the Thruxton complete the look. The spirit of customisation is made even easier by an extensive range of Triumph Genuine Accessories. Available with components that can add styling, protection, comfort and performance, the possibilities of personalisation are endless.

Bonneville Newchurch

Every year a small town in the mountains of Austria plays host to the world’s biggest Triumph party as thousands of Triumph fans descend to celebrate their love of the brand and the bikes they own. Featuring everything from outrageous customs to an off-road drag race known as “The Rumble”, the town of Neukirchen has its name changed to Newchurch for the weeklong Tridays party. With spectacular mountain road rides, incredible stunt shows, and off road duelling, Tridays is the place where Triumph owners show off their latest customised rides.

To celebrate this passion and energy, we are pleased to introduce the new Bonneville Newchurch Special Edition. This new model features fresh new contemporary paint schemes, a new low profile seat and with cool black detailing throughout.

Each petrol tank is hand painted with a new design that highlights the iconic lines and proudly sports the new Triumph logo. Available in a choice of Cranberry Red / Pure White or Sapphire Blue / Pure White, featuring hand painted black detailing, the Bonneville Newchurch wears blacked-out mudguards, headlamp bowl, handlebars, mirrors and springs which combine to deliver a customised contemporary look. Finishing off the transformation are all black seven spoke cast wheels featuring a hand painted pinstriped coachline.

This net result is a striking Bonneville which we are sure owners will use as a perfect starting base for owners to continue their own customisation ideas.
