Triumph has just released a teaser video of its upcoming all-new Speed Triple. It is a 2-minute video which shows two Speed Triples, one ridden by Carl Fogarty and the other by Gary Johnson. This tells us that there is going to be two models of the new bike. Here’s the video.

Previously it was being anticipated that Triumph is going to follow the steps that it followed with its new Street Triple. We were expecting three models of the new Speed Triple too. But according to reports, and as per the video, Triumph is going to introduce two new models only – R and RS.

The new Speed Triple will be getting a host of changes, perhaps, not many of those will tamper the way it looks, but they’ll definitely help the bike to perform terrifically better than the outgoing model. The new Street Triple has got 80% new engine parts to make it the performer it is. Triumph won’t leave the Speed Triple hanging. It will have better parts and will give better performance. We are expecting a more high revving engine with more power and torque up in the rev range. We are also anticipating a new and different exhaust note.

Triumph will also introduce its new full-colour TFT dash in the Speed Triple range. It will also offer various electronic aids like different riding modes and different levels of traction control. The pair of headlamps will now be full LED units, providing more illumination.

In the video, Triumph has fixed a date for, most probably, the unveiling of the new Speed Triple. It’s 5 Feb 2018. Let’s wait and see what exactly Triumph has done.
