Indian Motorcycle recently revealed its new PowerPlus engine which is the most powerful engine Indian has ever made. Indian also said that this new engine will make its debut in the new 2020 Indian Challenger. So we were expecting the new bike with the new engine to be showcased at the upcoming EICMA in Milan. However, Indian caught us by surprise by already unveiling the 2020 Challenger!

This is by far the most radical Indian that we’ve ever seen. One of the most attractive features of the new Challenger has to be its headlight/fairing setup. It’s huge and first for an Indian. It contains LED DRLs and a LED headlight in the centre.

The 2020 Indian Challenger gets all the goodies that you’d expect from a premium cruiser.

  • Weatherproof saddlebags with over 68-litres of storage space

Indian also has a plethora of accessories to make the Challenger even more touring-friendly and unique.

There are three models of the Indian Challenger – standard, Challenger Dark Horse and Challenger Limited. Apart from the standard model, the other two gets Indian Motorcycle’s intuitive Smart Lean Technology, keeping riders confidently grounded by utilising a Bosch IMU to add cornering pre-control to the dynamic traction control and ABS, as well as Drag Torque Control. These models also feature Indian 7-in RideCommand which includes weather and traffic overlays, key vehicle information, Bluetooth and USB mobile pairing, and an all-new quad-core processor for faster response.
