Jorge Lorenzo hasn’t been at his best in the last 12 to 15 months. Things are avoiding to be in its favour ever since he left Yamaha and joined Ducati. And it became even worse when he decided to switch teams once again and hopped on with the Team Honda. He has been seen struggling to find the sweet spot with Honda’s RC213V, the same bike on which Marquez has been setting new world records.
Lorenzo suffered many injuries in the last few months. The latest one was at the FP1 in Assen where he had a brutal crash which prevented him to race at both the Dutch and German GP. His place was filled by Honda’s test rider Stefan Bradl at the German GP and he’s going to be there even at the Czech GP after the summer break if Lorenzo doesn’t recover on time, confirms Honda.

Speaking on this, Repsol Honda team manager Alberto Puig says, “About Jorge Lorenzo, we wish that Jorge has a good and speedy recovery and can join us in Brno. The team is waiting for him.”
“Surely, recovering from his injury is not an easy task, but we know that in his heart he is a champion and he will fight to be back in good shape and with renewed motivation.”
The next race of the 2019 MotoGP is scheduled for 4th Aug at the Czech Republic after the summer break which gives Lorenzo a good amount of time to recover. We wish him all the best and a speedy recovery so that he can get back on the track.
