Each and every team and its riders have already started preparing for the 2019 season of Moto2 and Moto3 championships. Valentino Rossi’s team Sky Racing VR46 is the first one to unveil 2019 Moto2 and Motor3 race livery. The unveiling was done live on the Italian version of X-Factor, one of the popular TV shows.
This is the third time in a row when the Sky Racing Team VR46 has used a live TV appearance as a platform to unveil its next season’s Moto3 and Moto2 racing livery. This time too both the Moto2 and Moto3 riders were present during the live session.
The new racing livery shows a new grey seat area and some chrome blue lines. We will continue to see the ‘Sky’ logo in a white color well visible to the eye.

The 2019 Moto2 season will see the debut of Triumph’s new inline 3-cylinder engine that everyone’s talking about. We are pretty excited about it as well. Triumph has done many tests of its new engine. In a recent press release, it was announced that the new 765cc Moto2 race bike engines will produce over 138bhp.
Sky Racing Team VR46 Moto2 rider Luca Marini, debut 2018 race winner, becomes the unofficial Moto2 team leader. He is currently recovering from a shoulder surgery. Speaking about the next season, he says, “It will be a special year: in Moto2, with the new engines, everything will change. After the surgery to the shoulder in November, I started the recovery process, but every day the feeling is better and the goal is to recover at 100% for the start of the season. With Pecco we did a great job, we grew up as a Team, but also with Nicolò we can do something important.”

Dennis Foggia, Moto3 rider, says, “I ended my rookie season growing and this will surely be a further injection of confidence for the next year. Even in the testing session at the end of 2018 the feelings were positive and I’m looking forward to get back on track.”
Pablo Nieto, Team manager, says, “We have closed a great 2018 reaching an important result for the whole team and for all the people from Sky and the VR46 who have worked on this project for the last 5 seasons. A job made of passion and commitment. But now it is time to think about 2019: we will confirm four strong riders, two rookies for starting a new growth path and two young guys with more experience and ready to fight for the top positions.”
