Shoei has launched a new X-Spirit III helmet with Marc Marquez’s 2018 Motegi helmet livery. It features blue and gold matte colour combination along with some graphics representing a fight between good and evil.
Marquez is the reigning MotoGP world champion and is currently leading the 2019 season. This young Spaniard has broken many world records and set new ones. MotoGP riders race at insane speeds and thus get the best riding gear and protection available. Shoei designs custom helmets for Marc Marquez and the new X-Spirit III helmet with the 2018 Motegi livery is the latest addition in the brand’s line-up.
The X-Spirit III helmet is Shoei’s flagship product. It features a six-ply fibre shell and adjustable pads that can be moved inside the lid to adapt to the rider’s head. The shell itself features six air ducts on the chin, forehead, and top of the head to maximise the airflow. The spoilers and air curtains also contribute to the helmet’s aerodynamics to reduce the resistance which has an impact on the rider’s performance.
The new X-Spirit III helmet with Marc Marquez’s 2018 Motegi helmet livery should be available for purchase starting September. It will cost $889.99 (AED 3268.93).
