Royal Enfield finally unveiled its new Interceptor INT 650 and Continental GT 650 earlier this month at the 2017 EICMA show. Both the motorcycles received a lot of appreciation for their design and of course, for the new engine they’ll be running on. Royal Enfield has clearly stated that these bikes will be available by April 2018, but we’ve seen some new pictures of them on the Internet.
These pictures were taken in the state of California, US. It is to be believed that the bikes were being setup for a TVC. While the Continental GT 650 is in the same white colour that we’d seen at the EICMA, the Interceptor, on the other hand, has a chrome fuel tank! It really looks interesting in this paint job. If Royal Enfield has got this colour combination in the Interceptor’s catalogue, then it’d sell more than the other colours. The Interceptor INT 650 that was showcased in Milan was sporting an orange colour scheme. That was good too but this chrome one is just that much better and somehow manages to blend in and suit the character of the motorcycle.
The new Royal Enfield Interceptor INT 650 and Continental GT 650 will be powered by the company’s newly developed 650cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is said to produce 47 horses and 52Nm of torque. Royal Enfield is expected to bring in more products based on this new engine in the future. If you ask me, out of these two bikes, I’d love to get the Continental GT. I just have an affinity for it. Which one would you pick and what do you think about the new Chrome colour of the Interceptor INT 650?
