Remember the Yamaha Niken and all the hype that it brought? Well, if you were impressed by Yamaha’s three-wheel leaning Niken, then the Quadro Qooder will definitely give you a new perspective of scooters and motorcycles. The Qooder is a four-wheel leaning scooter which provides an astoundingly different driving experience. Quadro Vehicles, its parent company, is now planning to make the Qooder an electric scooter.
Founded in 2010, Quadro Vehicles is headquartered in Vacallo, Switzerland. It develops compact three and four-wheel vehicles for contemporary urban mobility. The products are currently distributed in more than 20 countries mainly in Europe. It products are equipped with the worldwide patented HTS Hydraulic Tilting System, a unique all-wheel leaning technology.
So the deal is that Quadro will use Zero’s electric drive system to put it to use in its Qooder electric scooter. Zero Motorcycles is already quite established in the electric two-wheeler industry. And with this deal, it will enter into a whole new segment of leaning vehicles.

The Qooder in its normal glory is powered by a 398.8cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces around 32hp at 7000 rpm and generates a peak torque of 38.5Nm at 5000 rpm. Its electric counterpart is expected to have similar power and torque figures with all the torque available right from the word ‘go’.
As far as looks are concerned, it is being speculated that Quadro will keep the overall styling and design of the e-Qooder untouched. And it would be a good decision because the Qooder looks gorgeous in its original avatar.
Things look to be in its initial stages. It is being said that Quadro is optimistic to reveal its e-Qooder to the public sometime in late 2019. We will be keeping an eye on it, so stay tuned for the latest updates.
