MV Agusta has a habit of launching special edition or limited edition models of its popular products. In the past, we’ve seen a Brutale 800 America, Limited Edition of 2018 F4 RC, 2018 Brutale 800 RR Pirelli, and of course, the F4 LH44 built in collaboration with Lewis Hamilton. So now, once again, MV Agusta and Lewis Hamilton reunites and brings to you the Brutale 800 RR LH44.
Apart from his God-like racing skills in Formula 1, Lewis Hamilton is known for his creative mind, sense of style, and his attention-to-detail nature. So he utilized all of his skills and got to work with MV Agusta at the firm’s Design Center. Mind you, MV Agusta’s Design Center is much more than a design studio: it’s a technology factory that nurtures engineers’ and designers’ imagination, through digital simulation and practical prototyping, breathes life into every new MV Agusta.
The Brutale 800 RR LH44 has Lewis’ style color scheme – a blend of black, red and white. The graphics emphasize the dynamic design and are capped off by his logo and his race number, 44. Just like with the F4 LH44, Lewis was extremely determined and focused about this naked motorcycle as well.
MV Agusta has used many new high-end materials and components to build the Brutale 800 RR LH44. Materials which have never been used on a production naked motorcycle – extensive use of specially designed carbon fiber components, unique color scheme graphics and a truly exclusive ceramic-based coating that is resistant to ultra-high temperatures on the exhaust system. Also included are numerous components machined from light alloy billet. Eye-catching details up front include the brake and clutch levers and fluid reservoir caps. The tank cap, like the engine oil filler cap, has also been CNC machined. Added panache also comes from the CNC clutch cover guard as well as the alternator guard.
The Brutale 800 RR LH44 is one of the best mid-size naked bikes on the market. It has got an extremely light-weight engine which produces 140 hp of max power. The bike is also loaded with most advanced technologies available today – counter-rotating crankshaft and quick-shift system EAS 2.0, etc.
MV Agusta will make only 144 units of this special edition Brutale 800 RR LH44. Each one of them will be numbered (1-144) on the instrument cluster fairing and will be provided with a certificate of authenticity. The production process of the Brutale 800 RR LH44 will commence in June 2018.
