The reigning MotoGP world champion, Marc Marquez, has performed brilliantly so far in the 2018 season. He is currently leading the world championship standings. The Spaniard is having a sweet time with his Honda race bike. Next month he will get a chance to drive an F1 car.

Marquez won’t be alone to enjoy the experience of an F1. His teammate Dani Pedrosa and nine-time Motocross world champion Tony Cairoli will share the day with him. This has been made possible by Red Bull which is conducting a private test in Austria.

The test will be held on June 5-6. Most likely these guys will get into an F1 car with a V8 engine. Marquez, Pedrosa, and Cairoli will visit the Bull’s F1 headquarters in Milton Keynes pretty soon for seat fittings and get familiar with the know-how on the team’s simulator.

In the past, Pedrosa and Marquez have had the opportunity to get into an F3 car at the Honda Thanks Day at Motegi. This time things will be much more exciting. Being a MotoGP rider does have its perks, right?

Currently, Marquez is at the first position in the 2018 MotoGP with 95 points. Pedrosa is at 10th place with 29 points.
