Ducati Streetfighter V4-UAE-Dubai

We’ve been hearing about the Streetfighter V4 from earlier this year and it was finally and officially revealed at the EICMA 2019 and the world went berserk. Later, Ducati came up with another new product, Panigale V2, which replaced the 959 Panigale. Now, the latest reports suggest that Ducati could be working on a new naked motorcycle that will be based on the Panigale V2.

The Streetfighter V4 is a full-on performance motorcycle. It draws its power from the mighty V4 engine that produces 205bhp! That’s a lot and not everyone could hold on to the leash even after all the help from the electronics and all that high-end equipment onboard. On the other hand, the Panigale V2 is powered by a comparatively milder 955cc, V-twin that churns out 155 horses which should be manageable by the masses.

Then, perhaps, taking the Panigale V2’s engine and slapping it into the Streetfighter V4 would make sense? And it would be called the Streetfighter V2?

Ducati CEO, Claudio Domenicali, has confirmed that a lower-capacity version of the Streetfighter V4 is planned. He said, “We now have the Panigale V2 that makes 155bhp and puts you in the range where you can experience exciting sport riding without being extreme and we would like to have naked bikes in different categories, too.”

“The Streetfighter V4 will remain at the top and then have other motorcycles where you get the same sports feeling with less extreme performance. We are thinking of a very interesting new naked model that will come sooner rather than later.”

Let’s see when does that ‘sooner’ come.
