Jorge Lorenzo switching from Ducati to Honda from 2019 MotoGP season. This news was quite a surprise because no one saw it coming. Lorenzo was struggling to find the tuning with the Ducati race bike and during the 2018 MotoGP, it came into the highlight that the Spaniard is moving with the Japanese.

Lorenzo was allowed to attend the official tests that happened at the end of 2018 with Honda Repsol at Jerez and Valencia. He test rode the Honda RC213V for the first time. However, he was not allowed to speak to any media because his contract with Ducati was still active.
But now it is 2019 and Lorenzo is officially a Honda Repsol MotoGP rider. So, Honda didn’t waste any more time and released a video of Lorenzo’s first interview after getting onboard the team. Watch the interview below.
Lorenzo will share the team with the current MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez. Both the Spaniards will go head-to-head from this year’s season. Marquez has always been a competitive rider and Lorenzo doesn’t know to back off either. So watching them race from the same team would really be interesting.
