Honda is set to launch an interesting motorcycle surrounding the autumn season globally for 2018. To keep the crowd interested and excited, they launched a five-video series to raise the curiosity levels. The video kicked off last week in social media platforms and Honda’s power sports websites where the video explores into the motivation that drives the riders to venture out into uncharted territories in the pursuit of seeking adventure and new experiences on their motorcycles. The footage in the teaser is created in an inspiring way filled with lifestyle footage and a plethora of Honda models that fly by.
When all this action is happening, a voiceover in the background concludes it stating, “We know home, but what we don’t know is what lies beyond.” and the video finishes with #WhatLiesBeyond hash tag and the date 10.24.17 which is the date in which the new model is set to be launched. When asked about the marketing campaign to the Manager of Powersports Marketing Communications at American Honda, Lee Edmunds said, “It’s always a thrill to kick off a new marketing campaign, and we think the first episode in this video series is entirely worthy of the significant 2018 model that it’s intended to promote”
He also went on to add, “We’re proud to showcase our products’ features and benefits, but sometimes it’s nice to take a step back and simply celebrate the act of riding a motorcycle. We look forward to releasing episode 2 next month.” The video is attached here and it shows how Honda is working on their marketing campaigns to get the crowd curious before they launch their motorcycles. There is speculation that there might be a Goldwing in the works but there is no authentic data to be sure.
