It was back in March 2018 when the test mules of the 2019 Triumph Scrambler 1200 were spotted for the first time. Then the news regarding the launch of this new motorcycle emerges which got us even more excited. And it was in October 2018 when we saw the bike in flesh and it didn’t take us long to get hooked to it. Well, if that wasn’t enough, Triumph has also got two ‘Inspiration Kits’ for its Scrambler 1200.
This isn’t the first time we have seen Triumph working its way with some inspiration kits. For the Scrambler 1200, Triumph has got two kits to lure in more customers. These are Escape Inspiration Kit and Extreme Inspiration Kit. The former is oriented towards touring whereas the latter focuses on off-roading. Here is what these two kits have to offer.

Escape Inspiration Kit
As we mentioned earlier, this kit is for the people who like to tour a lot and go on adventure riding. The accessories included with this kit will make your touring experience that much more better. Opting for this kit will give you access to the following items:
- Rugged pannier & fitting kit
- Handguards kit (fitted as standard on the Scrambler 1200 XE)
- Grab rack kit
- LED fog lamps
- Centre stand
- Flyscreen & mounting kit

Extreme Inspiration Kit
As the name suggests, this kit is designed to make the new Scrambler 1200 more off-road friendly. If you are the kind of person who likes to get his hands dirty (or perhaps much more than that) by diverting off from the tarmac into the dust, dirt, mud, or slush, then you’d appreciate this kit. Things you get with this include:
- High front mudguard
Carbon Arrow silencer (homologated)
Aluminium radiator guard
Machined oil filler cap
Black handlebar brace
LED indicator kit & rear light relocation kit
Side stand base extension
Stainless steel dresser bar
Headlight grille
Headlight bezel

The 2019 Triumph Scrambler 1200 comes in two variants – XC and XE. Both of them are powered by the same 1200cc parallel-twin engine that churns out 89bhp and 110Nm of torque. There are some interesting features that we get to see on these motorcycles. For example, the 2nd generation TFT instrument cluster is a very nice touch.
So, out of the two Inspiration Kits, which one would you pick and why? Do let us know in the comments.
